It's only a few steps up from the first Crazy Taxi.

Everyone should have a Crazy Taxi in their collection, and this is the one I recommend most.

The controls are also spot-on perfect, as one should expect from a Crazy Taxi game. If you are looking for a game that guarantees a good time, then check this game out as soon as possible.

CT3 brings all the best aspects of the first two games together and packages them with a third city that's simply loads of fun to play.

The city in the Glitter Oasis level quickly morphs into barren roads and cliffs, making an initially fun level barren, bleak, and boring.

Yes, the game engine may be creaking with stomach-churning slowdown on the all-new course, but the fun sense of freedom and all-new whacked-out characters still draw me in. If you've never Taxied, buy this on sight.

Despite the lack of multiplayer and user soundtracks (two glaring oversights), the game is highly enjoyable to newcomers as well as veterans to the series.

Aside from the strangely bland textures, the most glaring problems are some awkward technical hiccups like objects popping in, slowdown in busy areas, and polygon clipping... unacceptable on the Xbox.

The graphics look crisp, but the slowdown on parts of Glitter Oasis is a major disappointment.

That's not to say it's not enjoyable or that it's a bad game – it is very easy to pick up and play for enjoyment in short spurts – it's just average. If you want the definitive Crazy Taxi game, this is it.

Everything from the visuals to the controls and soundtrack were all taken straight from the original games, as the only rewarding thing is the mini-games. Even the new city based on Las Vegas fails to bring it up from the grave.

The gameplay is addictive the sound is upbeat and the graphics are fun and goofy.

If you loved the first two Crazy Taxi's then you will likely enjoy the new one, though feel the new city is a bit boring and go back to the original two. Overall it is fun package worth checking out.

It doesn't include as many next-generation enhancements as we would like to have seen, but at the end of the day the original game was ahead of its time when it launched on Dreamcast.

If you're not a huge fan or a newcomer to the series, you may find that Crazy Taxi 3 doesn't have much more to keep you coming back.

Making it more difficult is the fact that it felt to me like the Xbox timing was just different enough from the Dreamcast's to make it annoying.

It seems little effort was made to make full use of what the Xbox is good at. In fact, you'll notice jaggies, lots of clipping, mild pop-up in some locations and a lot of slowdown in the Glitter Oasis level.

At first it felt as if I were playing the same old thing as before... Then I once again realized how much fun Crazy Taxi can be.

It's strange how a game can have new mini-games and even a big new level and still feel old.

The game remains single-player only.
