Crysis 2 really feels like the kitchen sink of recent shooters: compelling single-player, interesting multiplayer modes, vehicles, myriad weapons, and the Nanosuit. Plus 3D, stealth kills, grabbing and throwing enemies, sprinting and sliding, using cover, and facing enemies using highly effective AI routines to keep every encounter fresh: It's all here, every check box of the genre ticked. But this kitchen sink is 24-carat gold plated.

I absolutely loved Crysis 2 from start to finish. The game looks amazing, sounds amazing and plays like a dream. The singleplayer campaign was a satisfying 10 hours and left me wanting to play it again at a higher difficulty setting. Multiplayer borrows a few ideas from other games but overall is a unique and highly enjoyable experience even if it does force you to put in the time to get the most out of it.

Crysis 2 meets and exceeds all my expectations as a sequel and a next-gen shooter.

Crysis 2 manages to deliver us one of the best graphics on Xbox 360, coupled with a varied, compelling end extremely rewarding gameplay. A game that can proudly walk amongst the best FPSes in this generation: a must buy.

It looses freedom of movement, but gains spectacle. Whether you are a fan of the original game or not, if you like first-person shooters you'll love this great game.

Crysis 2 manages to top , but just barely, thanks to a storyline that actually stands its ground (despite lapses in logic), gameplay that puts a twist on first-person shooting antics, mind-bogglingly good graphics and strong multiplayer options.

Crysis 2 takes the ideas and technological prowess of the first game and focuses them into a multifaceted experience that encourages you to go to town with its tactics and physicality. The nanosuit is what defines the Crysis 2 experience, and once you get familiar with its features, it feels as natural as a second skin.

Despite any story hiccups, I can't stress how incredible it all looks.

While most FPS like CoD series or Halo do improve in each iteration, this is one of the few games that dramatically enhances its previous installment. This is the new FPS, the thinking man's FPS, and I can't wait to get my second playthrough started.

There will always be room for improvement, but Crysis 2 has managed to surpass its competition in almost every category. There's little here that will convert non-FPS players, but fans of the genre would be doing themselves a disservice if they missed out on the Nanosuit 2.0.

This is a relentlessly explosive title that doesn't know the meaning of respite; one which laughs in the face of 'downtime'.

If I had to sum this game up in one word...that word would be "WOW!"

Taking control of the ultimate soldier has never been more entertaining. The gameplay and controls of Crysis 2 are outstanding and rate among the best in the genre. Graphics and sound are incredible, the post-apocalyptic atmosphere hasn't been this good since Fallout 3. The unique Crysis 2 is much more than a typical shooter.

Crysis 2 skates on the thin ice of its own excellence. There are weaknesses, that might - if the mode-swapping suitplay hadn't been so strong - have dragged the game down. But the story and combat strong enough to carry you through, and if you've got the stomach for competitive multiplayer, the Nanosuit will bring a new world of sneaky, high-jumping tactics to your online game.

Crytek's boiling hot sequel is an exhibition in cleverly designed freedom and gorgeous graphics.

Crysis 2 delivers some impressive gameplay moments, offering frantic shoot-outs aplenty against human and non human foes, energetic stealth elements amidst the slower paced sneaking making for a comprehensive melting pot of styles which can be utilized at any time during play.

Crytek's fourth game is their most confident to date, carefully balancing silliness, seriousness, and spectacle, and despite looking like a laundry list of bad shooter clichés at first glance the end product is surprisingly fresh-faced and triumphant. Switching to New York gives Crytek what it desperately needed: a credible sense of menace to go alongside gorgeous technical fortitude and impressive artistic direction.

It plays well, encourages creative problem-solving, and confidently delivers a series of escalating and changing encounters and scenarios that will push you to think in a way few shooters have in an era of increasingly funneled experiences.

Crysis is a great shooter and brings the current generation to its limits. The visuals offered are some of the best you will ever see and the gameplay doesn't lack behind. You won't be disappointed.

Crytek has created an excellent game, with strong combat, many possibilities and enough freedom to satisfy every shooter lover out there. It has flaws, but it overcomes them easily thanks to the great graphics and strong gameplay that make Crysis 2 a great FPS.
