The three new islands, Avalon (Albion), HyBrasil (Hibernia) and Aegir (Midgard), are all wonderfully crafted realms full of danger, quests and realm combat.

The mippy-mappy goodness of the new graphics system makes you just shake your head in awe at some of the landscapes and creatures.

Existing Camelot fans and MMORPG players would be smart to take up on Mythic's latest quid pro quo. Time spent versus satisfaction - you're undoubtedly getting the better end of the deal.

If you have patience and want a truly incredible experience with lots of high level content and desire to engage in massive realm battles, you should spend that little extra and invest in the total package.

The updates to the user interface make controlling characters even easier, and the overall improvements in design make it a wonderful addition for all players in the Dark Age of Camelot universe.

If you are looking for a very rich, fantasy-themed MMO with a very large community behind it and an enjoyable PvP system, this is definitely the game for you. If you are looking for twitchy instant gratification, carry on... There is nothing to see here.

There's a good wedge of new content and some polished visuals in the Shrouded Isles package, but what's missing is any sort of improvement to the game's Realm-vs.-Realm premise.

DAoC is still one of the best online role-playing games on the market, and by extension, one of the best such games to date. And Shrouded Isles succeeds at making it even bigger and better.

No one should play "DAOC" without Shrouded Isles.
