From its addictive ProQuest mode and dynamic skeletal animation system to its engaging licensed tunes, it's the proverbial "Tony Hawk" for freestyle BMX fans.

Mirra stands as the best BMX game on the market.

There's no way around it: the game rocks.

With plenty of features, accessible yet challenging gameplay and a solid soundtrack, Freestyle BMX is just the thing to alleviate any prolonged skateboard withdrawal.

While the midair stunts and crashes look painfully real, the game also seems to lack a convincing sensation of speed.

It's a great game for what it does, but not everyone's going to enjoy watching polygonal people do stupid stuff on a bike.

This is free roaming BMX action, complete with dirt tracks, half pipes, empty pools -- just the goods to fulfill any BMXers dream.

It's fun to play, and it has that wonderfully irritable quality that keeps you coming back for just one more trick. Or two. Or four. Or, screw it, I'm not going out tonight, I'll just stay in and play Dave Mirra all night.

Overall this game totally rocks. I loved it.
