Nupixo’s debut offering Detective Di: The Silk Rose Murders is a brilliant introduction to one of ancient China’s most famous investigators that does just about everything right.

I would highly suggest giving this game a try for its story alone.

At a mere tenner, Detective Di: The Silk Rose Murders is a no-brainer to pick up for anyone looking for a cerebral and emotional murder mystery. Also, anyone interested in the historic era the game presents will find a real winner here.

Nupixo has done a fine job with Detective Di, all things considered. Anyone that enjoys a good mystery story or point and click games would do well to make time for this one and hopefully we’ll see Nupixo continue to invest in the genre.

Detective Di: The Silk Rose Murders is a commendable first effort from Nupixo Games who seem to grasp what a traditional point and click adventure game should be. The puzzles have a sense of purpose and its interesting setting and plot will keep players hooked, although its short duration and easy challenge will, most likely, not satiate seasoned players.
