The man behind interactive storytelling triumphs Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls has brought us what is perhaps his most fully formed and satisfying story yet, a work that examines the concept of machine intelligence with nearly as much insight and sympathy as Isaac Asimov's finest novels about robots and just as much style as Alex Garland's Ex Machina.

The main characters, the story, the choices, the moral dilemmas, the audio, the overall experience...it all comes together in one fantastic package. Quantic Dream's Detroit is not only the studio's best game, it also raises the bar for the genre.

Quantic Dream surpasses everything it has done before with Detroit: Become Human. A huge script allows for a thrilling story to have multiple layers that, at the same time, deal with topics such as slavery, the human condition or the concept of identity. A real masterpiece of the genre.

Quantic Dream has created a masterpiece for everyone who know how to enjoy it. Is not a game for all the players, but is worth giving a try instead if you don´t like this kind of games, because both its story and how it tells it to you, got hooked the player from the start to the end.

Even with some little flaws, Detroit is the best game ever created by Quantic Dream. You'll really feel close to the characters. Be ready for your instincts and principles to be tested.

is a social revolution simulator, where most of your choices actually matter, the story and characters are engaging and moving and the amount of narrative content is incredibly massive.

Detroit: Become Human manages to dial back Quantic Dream’s usual style of storytelling and instead focus more on the characters and their personal journey resulting in one the most compelling adventure games in recent memory.

Detroit: Become Human is another bull's-eye from David Cage. This title shows that this kind of narrative game has much more to say. A masterpiece that any sci-fi lover can't afford to miss.

Detroit: Become Human is a cinematic masterpiece, and easily the best work to date from developer Quantic Dream. It’s gorgeous, sounds beautiful, and the choices made here are impactful and introspective. Better still, the exposed underpinnings encourage repeat playthroughs just to see where all of the rabbit holes go. Come for the storyline, stay for the thought provoking look at a potential near future for mankind, and where AI might fit within it.

Though it comes off as heavy-handed at times, Detroit tells an endearing story that verges on the profound, diving deep into the nature of humanity itself. It proves that interactivity and focused storytelling aren’t mutually exclusive and that the two can enhance each other given a proper degree of talent behind the scenes.

Detroit: Become Human is by far the most branching game ever made. Every decision that you make has its consequences, even when you just open a window. More emotional than the other games created by Quantic Dream, stunning from a technical point of view, it will mark the history of narrative games.

Maybe it's because all of the characters are supposed to be robots so you're force-fed story and juxtaposition through analysis, making it easy from a writing perspective. Maybe it's because there are so many different branches and outcomes to the story that they actually delivered on. Maybe it's Jesse Williams' face. Look, I really don't know. But I do know that I couldn't put Detroit: Become Human down, and after I beat it, I immediately replayed all the chapters to get the different outcomes.

Detroit: Become Human is, without a shadow of a doubt, David Cage's best work. After almost a handful of failings, Detroit: Become Human showcases what David Cage is capable of as both a writer and a director. He isn't shy about tackling taboo topics, regardless of the backlash, and it pays off here in what is a tour de force story of overcoming oppression.

The mix of strong storytelling, great acting and dreamy music lead to a fantastic cinematic experience and a grand tale that is rare to be witnessed. This game will make you proud for believing in the storytelling capabilities of video games all this time.

This is Quantic Dream’s best game so far. A fantastic adventure that blurs the line between cinema and video games.

Detroit: Become Human really is like sitting down and playing a TV box set. It's a technical masterpiece on PS4 with movie quality sound, lighting and camera work, which is backed up by some top quality action and a wonderfully evocative score. Detroit really worked for me; I was gripped by the story and connected with the characters, but I think some players may have a hard time relating to Kara, Markus, and Connor. That’s to be expected. After all, we’re only human.

Despite a few storytelling shortfalls, Detroit: Become Human is stylish and slick from start to finish, and is easily Quantic Dream's best work to date.
