Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is an enticing action-packed game featuring fun fluid combat in which you'll summon heroes and battle demons.

Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat stands as a viable transposition of the Capcom series to iOS and Android, in the form of a visually nice but not gorgeous action RPG that focuses precisely on combat and leaves very little room for any other mechanics, from exploration to puzzles.

In a nutshell, Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat isn't breaking new ground. It's got some decent parts, like controls and graphics, but the story lacks that hook, and the gameplay gets a bit samey after a while.

Net of the charm of the protagonists and an overall enjoyable combat system, Devil May Cry Peak of Combat is a product totally devoid of original ideas which limits itself to replicating what has been done by other free to play games, however obtaining results which are not even vaguely comparable in terms of effectiveness. So if you appreciate the formula, you'd better divert your attention to Honkai Impact 3rd and other free action games for mobile.

Peak of Combat should really have been named "Peak of Greed" because it is without a doubt one of the most disgusting games in terms of pay-to-play I've come across in the last 10 years.

Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is one of the most joyless games I’ve ever played. Its combat system doesn’t even come close to living up to the Devil May Cry legacy, and any entertainment that could have come from it is buried under its overwhelmingly aggressive monetization. It is, at best, functional and, at worst, utterly devoid of any value. If this is the peak of combat, I’ll just hang out at base camp.

Stamina, the single currency required to progress, arrives in minuscule volumes, making cash payments the only viable route to making headway in this offensively dull and exploitative perversion of a much loved series.
