Summary
The first project under THQ's ground-breaking partnership with legendary game creator Tomonobu Itagaki and his newly formed Valhalla Game Studios, Devil's Third is a fast-paced action game set in the near future in the wake of a global catastrophe. Itagaki, whose credits include the critically acclaimed Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive franchises, has pledged to deliver an experience like no other, combining a deep storyline with original combat mechanics all set against an atmospheric and explosive backdrop.

Some aspects of Devil's Third are top-notch, in both design and polish . . . though I wouldn't trust it to do my taxes.

If there's a game that fits perfectly as a kusoge (the term that Japanese gamers use for terrible games), Devil's Third is definitely one of a kind. Itagaki's experiment is a total failure in all of game's aspects: bad gameplay mechanics, terrible narrative and poor graphics make this title something to avoid.
