Dirt Rally 2.0 is the best rally game there is on the current generation consoles. The graphic effects are amazing, the authentic and challenging driving is unmatched and we can only hope Codemasters will not put microtransactions in this epic game.

Although it feels a little short on content at times, DiRT Rally 2.0 provides a gorgeous, rewarding, and punishing hardcore experience for dedicated racing enthusiasts with the skills and patience to handle the pressure.

Following on from its predecessor, DiRT Rally 2.0 is the pinnacle of rally on PlayStation 4. The simulation handling is brutal, but a lot of fun to learn and brilliantly satisfying to conquer. The raw driving experience is highly intense as you travel at insane speeds, always verging on disaster. While it's missing some of the more casual-friendly features of DiRT 4, the suite of modes and options will keep any rally fan going for a long time. Even if the sim label puts you off, we'd encourage you to take this for a test drive; it's easily one of the most thrilling racing games in recent years.

As your vehicle weaves through the beautiful fall-season trees of New England or rocky terrains of Argentina, you can’t help but ponder the bravery of individuals who confront ever-changing street and weather conditions and live to see another day.

Dirt Rally 2.0 may just be the most complete racing experience of this generation. The physics and handling model will be a treat for hardcore racing fans, even if it pushes away casual racers. The improved lighting engine brings an utterly realistic and beautiful dynamic to gameplay as the cars look fantastic inside and out. Replays are truly a marvel despite some visual issues hurting the immersion. Yes, there are some things behind a seasonal DLC paywall, but that doesn’t affect what is being offered at launch. Dirt Rally 2.0 feels like the true racing game to test everyone’s driving ability.

Just as Codemaster’s competitors were starting to creep towards the digital rallying crown, Dirt Rally 2.0 puts them firmly back in the rear-view mirror. Utterly convincing, enthralling and punishing, Dirt Rally 2 is an exquisite racing sim.

DiRT Rally 2.0 is an outstanding game that took everything that was good about the original and improved upon it. There are very few games I would classify as a must buy but DiRT Rally 2.0 absolutely is one of them.

DiRT Rally 2.0 is a master-class in how to do the rally genre justice. While it certainly presents a steep learning curve, rally enthusiasts will find a lot to love in Codemasters' latest entry in the highly-revered DiRT franchise.

Unparalleled gameplay makes DiRT Rally 2.0 Codemasters' ultimate 2019 rally simulator. The game offers challenging stages, the difficulty setting is variable which makes the game just a tad more accessible this time around. The audio is fantastic, the cars look great and we could praise this game for pretty much everything it does. More locations would have been nice but don't let that stop you from buying the best rally game that is currently out there.

With improvements in almost every single aspect of its design over the first game, Dirt Rally 2.0 offers a superb driving model with high levels of challenge, the best co-driver ever in a rally game and tons of content. We believe, though, that the "always online" model was rather unnecessary.

The return of designed, not
generated, tracks is massively
welcome, and the visual upgrade
is superb. A masterclass in
consequence-tempered driving,
this is simply the best rally sim
yet.

The king has met his match. Dirt Rally 2.0 is a worthy successor to the legendary Richard Burns Rally and every true rally fan should already be playing this gem. There are plenty of brilliant additions compared to the first installment and the driving model is... well, simply the best.

For all fans of the discipline in question and racing games in general, this Dirt Rally 2.0 is really an almost obligatory stop. If only there had been virtual reality support, it would probably have been the perfect rally game.

Dirt Rally 2.0 doesn’t have every feature under the sun, but I trust it. I know I can put together a good team that’s going to help me win events, and the gameplay delivers, letting me skate that line between confidence and foolishness without knowing the difference.

DiRT Rally 2.0 feels absolutely great with the wheel between your hands. It's a pity that it doesn't have more content.

If you're looking for a real rally simulator experience, with good control and attention to detail, DiRT Rally 2.0 is your game. It gives players freedom to play and progress the way they want, and, even if you'll miss some features from previous games, it offers even better control and a superior recreation of the rally race atmosphere.

Dirt Rally 2.0 feels great, looks good, and sounds fabulous. It doesn’t take long until you’re redoing the same stages over and over and career mode is still a little plain, but Dirt Rally 2.0 is a confident rally racer for serious revheads. Stern, focused, and harder than a woodpecker’s lips, it’s as tricky to tame as its predecessor but doing so is as satisfying as ever.

DiRT Rally 2.0 brings some great and challenging driving feelings in spite of a too clasic career mode and a graphics engine that sometimes feels a bit old.

DiRT Rally 2.0 is a solid improvement for the rally sim made by Codemasters. The physics and the driving model are top notch, even driving with a joypad, while the lack of a couple of locations and the general aging of the Ego Engine limit the game scope.
