Dishonored: Rat Assassin may be a twisted Fruit Ninja clone, but it's a great one, complete with a gruesome edge that sets it apart from other games of this type.

Tie-in games are frequently a little weak, trying to pack so much into so little. Dishonored: Rat Assassin dodges that quite nicely and, while it doesn't bear much similarity to what will happen in the full game, it's a fun distraction that's worth taking the time to download.

Rat Assassin is a simple game that manages to keep you entertained for a while, but misses the charm and depth of a similar game like Fruit Ninja. It's fun for a while, but never more than that.

Continuous play opens up a range of unlockables, including new backgrounds, blades, music and more objects to slice aside from rats. The only downside is that it is all quite dark, with the rats often blending into the background and making them harder to slice than it should be.
