Disney Dreamlight Valley’s next free update will feature two new characters, Jungle Getaway.
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s upcoming Jungle Getaway is scheduled for the 9th of October, and it will let players experience a old realm inspired by The Lion King. This means that some familiar faces will be making an appearance.
A press release states that "the new update will allow players to experience Disney's The Lion King inspired Realm in a whole new light, as they welcome two special guests -- Timon and Pumbaa." "Return to the beloved Realm - this time." Join the iconic duo for a three-day jungle retreat.
The press release says that you'll be able to create a "cosy camping" where you can enjoy stargazing or, even better, take a power nap to "learn to cope with stress and anxiety". There are also new quests, such as helping Pumba with his new hobby of pottery or trying to de-stress Timon. In an update video, a community developer said that if you spend time with these two around the Valley you will unlock their individual rewards.
This update also includes a new Star Path. The Night Show is a rock-inspired Star Path. Dress your avatar in rebellious clothes and hairstyles that are inspired by Disney Princesses and Disney villains. You can also create your own stage with pyrotechnics and stage props.
The developer says that "This Star Path" will also feature popular backpack styles you may already own outside of the game. "We are so excited to announce that we have collaborated with Loungefly to bring multiple lovingly crafted replicas of their statement making backpacks to the video game."
This update will fix bugs and improve the quality of life in Scrooge McDuck’s store. Empty clothing displays will be replaced with decorative furniture. The daily rotations will also have more stock with the new realm decor.
The developer says, "We want you to be able to move the cursor with more flexibility." You'll be able soon to choose between two edit modes control schemes. The first mode will be similar in style to the original free-flowing game, while the second mode will act as a hybrid by locking the cursor at the center of the screen and allowing it to move freely by holding a button.
