It will take weeks, maybe months, for you to earn every sticker and find all the collectibles.

If you're fan of Animal Crossing, even if you're not in love with Disney characters, you will find a great game.

It’s fun and innocent, staying true to the Disney message and aesthetic while delivering a quality experience that will certainly ring true to the young and young at heart.

Still, it’s hard to deny that Disney Magical World has a remarkably addictive quality to it. This is clearly a title aimed at a younger crowd, but I think there’s a fair amount here that adults can enjoy as well.

If you’re beginning to get burnt out on Animal Crossing and you’re seeking something similar that also manages to feel fresh, Magical World is the perfect way to start a new life once again.

Don't let Disney Magical World's slow start and over-friendliness fool you. There's a lot to do in this neighborly kingdom, even for older fans of Mickey.

Disney Magical World may not be revolutionary, but it feels like an evolution of the Animal Crossing model.

The underlying cause of the Disney magic is at times hard to pin down, but for my mind it's a combination of great, unique characters, nostalgia and an endless stream of wonderful, quality, animated movies.

While it’s perhaps not as full as Animal Crossing or as thematically engrossing as Kingdom Hearts, Disney Magical World is a surprisingly nice addition to the Disney universe that stands well on its own while further extending the reaches of Walt’s massive canon.

Disney Magical World is an entry level Animal Crossing for kids: it lacks depth and oddities but it's charming and simple enough to provide a few hours of fun before boredom ticks in.

Disney's Magical World is a pretty decent pick up for anyone burned out on Animal Crossing. The gameplay styles differ enough to make them stand out as two separate titles, but Magical World has a slight leg up on the competition.

Disney Magical World is a fun romp with a plethora of objectives to complete and items to create, but by the time you find yourself running across the same stretch of land for the umpteenth time to gather more items for that next quest, the magic starts to fade.

If you have a child or a friend who loves Disney and just can't get into simulators, this is their gateway, but I have a feeling that a lot of hardcore fans won't really get their money's worth.

Just like Disneyland, such a collection of entertaining attractions filled with fan service will delight children, but the repetitiveness of those activities and the lack of narrative reveal this magical world's superficial nature, even more obvious to the grown-ups, unless they still enjoy wearing ear hats.

For more seasoned gamers, Disney Magical World might be a pleasant surprise. For kids, it could feel genuinely magical.

Disney Magical World is a simple variation of the popular formula born with Animal Crossing. It’s simple game design and the lack of real objective transform this project into a game for a very young audience. That’s not bad, actually, but games such as Animal Crossing and Fantasy Life works in a better way, creating a solid bond between young and adult players.

Disney Magical Life may seem like it follows the path of other similar games but it creates its own personality as it grows. It’s always a joy to see the most memorable Disney characters in an interactive form and the exquisite way they are portrayed only adds to the game’s appeal.

Animal Crossing + Harvest Moon + Disney... it should be great, but it doesn't really work. There's a lot of content, though.
