With its numerous additions and improvements supported by an amazing list of remixes, DJ Hero 2 isn't only an automatic buy for those who loved the first one but also a definitive must have music title for all music genre fans.

DJ Hero 2 may not make major steps forward, but the additions, refinements and minor tweaks that FreeStyle Games have made really build on the solid foundations that the first game laid down to make DJ Hero 2 an even better experience then before and in my opinion, currently the best music game around.

Ultimately, DJ Hero 2 is a rare game that delivers exactly what it promises and does it exceedingly well. It's not quite perfect, but it does improve on the original effort in a number of noticeable ways.

DJ Hero was my favorite music game of 2009, and I'm happy to report this sequel bests its predecessor in nearly every way.

Overall, the game looks like it has been rebuilt from the ground up. The removal of the guitar portions, a slick new interface, a more evenly distributed soundtrack, and a few new tricks to keep you on your toes make this a far more polished product.

The game may not come with a red hat, but it makes me feel like a DJ nonetheless.

With all these improvements and more, over the award winning original, DJ Hero 2 and Activision have set the bar for the competition and claimed itself to be the undisputed king of the wheels of steel.

Pick up DJ Hero 2 as it's easily the best rhythm game released so far this year and quite possibly a contender for my favorite rhythm game ever.

DJ Hero 2 is the freshest thing in rhythm gaming right now, a lifeline for people bored of guitars and drums and genre veterans craving the purer, simpler rhythm-action kick of a pre-Guitar Hero world.

DJ Hero was always worth a spin in the right crowd but, with so many new ways to get everyone involved, it's no longer just a living room curio - it's a genuine, bona fide dance floor-filler.

In a genre where "improvement" is typically defined by how many new elements can be introduced between sequels, DJ Hero 2 relies on building upon the fundamentals of what made the first game so great. That's a pretty risky decision -- after all, it would be easier to sell the game on its newness if it came bundled with a theremin attachment -- but in terms of raw enjoyment, it's a decision that pays big, big dividends.

Small issues aside, DJ Hero 2 is a solid music gaming experience from top to bottom, even more enjoyable than the current iterations of Activision's other cash cow, Guitar Hero.

The main reason you'll keep returning to DJ Hero 2 is for a love of the music. Simply playing along with any of the tunes in the game is a thoroughly entertaining experience - particularly when you get the chance to commandeer the crossfader or perform some freestyle scratching and sampling.

Perhaps it's time for the older boys to check out the new kid on the block for inspiration, because DJ Hero 2 owns the music scene.

DJ Hero 2's multiplayer modes might not strike as anything special, although it is a social and accessible game, but the robust content is tailored to be the most hypnotic single-player rhythm game on the market.

DJ Hero 2's gameplay is better, the mixes are fantastic and getting the ability to creatively control your own freestyles make it an experience worth exploring. It's extremely gratifying to cut back and forth between two songs at your own discretion and create something that sounds simply awesome.

DJ Hero 2 is the perfect example of the "bigger, better and stronger" theory. Despite a more commercial twist in the track list, the presence of new gameplay elements, a better multiplayer experience and the awesome party mode, all grant this game great value.

While the turntable may never be as ubiquitous as a guitar, DJ Hero 2 continues to push the boundaries of music gaming and improves upon the original with features that make the game more lifelike than before. Beyond that, the music is what will draw you in and keep you playing, even if you aren't familiar with turntables or DJ culture.

DJ Hero 2 improves upon the original with new freestyling, good online gaming, fun customization and a wonderful career mode. Free Style Games has done enough quality work here to warrant a purchase and one can only hope enough people purchase it to warrant a third edition.

DJ Hero 2 has what people want from a well made sequel, enhancing the better parts of the original, broadening what has to offers, and at the same time having its own personality while mantaining the essence of the previous game.
