Doctor Who: Legacy could have easily just been a quick and easy cash-in on a loyal fanbase, offering a game that's sub-par at best. It has happened before, after all. Instead, fans are treated to engaging and fun puzzle battles featuring most of the characters from the series' more recent history.

Doctor Who strikes a solid blow against the cynics who expect every film and TV tie-in to be a souless cash-grab. Instead, it's a very smart match-three game that offers up a surprising amount of content for a low price indeed.

Doctor Who: Legacy was a pleasant surprise. It implements characters, locales, and plot points into a competent puzzle match game that should please Whovians and casual gamers alike.

An interesting addition to any casual gamer’s mobile library, but it will only really appeal to hardcore Whovians or people interested in getting into it. Still, it’s a fully featured match-3 game with enough of a twist to keep you invested for a while.

Doctor Who: Legacy might not be a love letter to the series, but it's clearly in love with it. If you share that loyalty, there's plenty of fun to be had with the game.

Doctor Who: Legacy is a real treat for Whovians, and a satisfying but derivative RPG-puzzler for the rest of us.

A reasonable Puzzle & Dragon clone, but matching gems and punching bad guys does nothing to honour the legacy of the TV show.

Doctor Who: Legacy is an ok match-3 puzzle game, but it lacks some much needed personality, despite that great license.
