Summary

You're on a lone mission in a post-climate collapse Earth.

Adventure around the world in your robotic suit and use your suit's tools and abilities to explore challenging environments. Navigate desolate landscapes, flooded cities and derelict buildings to find seeds from critical plant species and return them to the safety of the Doomsday Vault. Be aware, not everything is as it seems - you will need to evade the AI bots left behind to guard corporate interests.

Collect nutrients, restore Carbon Eaters, collect the seeds and nurture them in the Vault to create a sustainable crop.

If you're a fan of environmental puzzles, Doomsday Vault makes traversing the post-apocalypse surprisingly relaxing and, well, downright pleasant.

It’s very nice to look at, and, visually at least, the game feels just at home on a console as I imagine it did on a phone. Add in the whole environmentalist robot angle, and the game manages to borrow some charm from Wall-E. But it’s not enough to make Doomsday Vault a must-play game. I’m sure it’s great on a phone, where your play sessions may be a little shorter, but it doesn’t feel substantive enough to be worth any major investment of time or money now that it’s on the Switch.
