It is fresh, new, and puts an unusual twist on the ordinary.

A breath of pure oxygen to the platform genre... Despite it's inane premise and outward appearance, is really aimed at intelligent gamers with a sense of humor.

Muto has sly humor, difficult challenges, and some fantastic gameplay elements and comes out as the second best platformer on Xbox.

Thankfully, the game's shape-shifting shtick lifts it above the average, by allowing the good doctor to transform himself into a spider, gorilla, and several other types of creatures.

It seems as if those at Midway decided that the “hook” they would use in the game would be the good Doctor’s ability to change into various inane things, such as a spider or squirrel. The whole game in fact is based around this concept, and it is easily one of the most contrived, useless gimmicks I have seen in a game to date.
