After the first half hour, however, we discovered that while the game does have some mindless aspects, it's a surprisingly fun action title with some worthwhile puzzles and even an intriguing storyline.

It's a fun game, though a tad short, but it's got the right stuff where it counts. Just don't expect too much.

If you like scrolling hack-'n'-slash with some platformer action, all wrapped in a decent story, Dragon Valor will prove to be at least moderately entertaining.
