The game is so inventive and absorbing that it might just justify that GB Micro purchase-- unless you get the Famicom version, because that really justifies itself, doesn't it?

Strange, adorable, and it vibrates. Who could ask for anything more?

Thanks to brilliant design, fantastic gameplay and its in-built rumble device, Drill Dozer is one of the best 2D platformers you'll ever play.

Screw Breaker, simply put, is a fantastic game. It's the kind of creativity that can only escape from Japan, and yet with such a quirky design, it's surprisingly easy to pick up and play.

It features whimsical, memorable characters, terrific presentation and, most importantly, simply fantastic gameplay.

Any way you look at it Drill Dozer is an amazing piece of software. Although Drill Dozer looks like it has taken some cues from some of the best 2D games in history, it still manages to create a style of its own.

Drill Dozer is every bit as good as any current-gen portable title you care to name and succinctly encapsulates why the 2D platformer was so popular to begin with.

They don't come any more addictive than this, friend. With any luck this is exactly the type of game we'll see on the Revolution.

The graphics are incredibly rich and extremely colorful, adding a whole new level of personality to the game.

The game does have a tendency to get slightly repetitive at times, however almost as soon as the experience shows signs of getting to the point of redundancy a new gameplay mechanic, challenge or boss battle is introduced, thusly keeping your interest level zoned in from start to finish.

One of the last hurrahs for the GBA, and it's fittingly fun. Hugely enjoyable while it lasts.

The puzzles provide an awesome balance of manual dexterity and mental prowess, and the game's pacing is spot on.

In every way, Screw Breaker harkens back to the oldies - the days of make-you-think design, fun times jumping for platforms, missing them, and trying again, timing boss patterns and testing your reflexes.

If you're itching for and old school game with some new play mechanics, I highly suggest giving Drill Dozer a spin.

It's all over pretty quickly and there isn't much in teh way of extras, but Drill Dozer's a little beauty all the same. And not a Pokemon in sight.

Drill Dozer proves to be a great action game for the Game Boy Advance thanks to some creative, well-designed platforming elements and a number of classic-style boss battles, which keep the game uniformly intense throughout.

An incredibly solid platformer that'll probably go unnoticed and can quite possibly be a favorite when it comes to mentioning the year's most underrated titles.

It's possible you'll tire of Drill Dozer's slightly repetitive drill cycle, and there's less room for exploration and investigation than you'll find in something like Super Mario World, but given it's 15 years and about 48 million 2D platform games later, it's nice to find a developer who can still offer a fresh line of questioning - and a nice suit to wear while doing it.
