A short and somewhat limited game, that doesn't include a multiplayer mode which would fit very well, but also a very entertainment experience that will please those looking for an arcade driving game.

All in all I have to say arcade-racing fans should take a look at Driver: Renegade 3D. The game is funny, challenging and a real arcade-racing game with a lot of content and pretty cool comic style scenes.

A game that has clearly had a lot of time put into it. The handling, the graphics and the general feel of the game are fine. Problem is, the actual game content feels like an afterthought, as if the development studio suddenly thought, "Oooh, we haven't actually got anything for the player to do. Quick, stick a short story in there, put loads of swearing in it and pad it with street races."

Driver Renegade 3D has sparks of greatness in its Career mode, but the main Story mode is a disappointing experience.

Driver: Renegade 3D is a game with two faces. The first one is pretty sad, with a short and boring Story Mode, a bad AI and the lack of any kind of multiplayer mode. The second one grants a very good Career Mode, with funny races and a solid structure.

Driver Renegade 3D sports quick, immediate and amusing gameplay, but no content beside a brief Story Mode and a monotonous Career Mode. With no multiplayer to be seen, this is a missed opportunity and a game not to buy, at full price at least.

Renegade 3D driver is not a bad game. Simply it is a title that has several flaws, worsened by the absolute insipid gameplay.

An average title overall. Qualities such as smooth driving controls and an impressive open setting are let down by inconsistent levels of challenge, a city lacking in population, repetitive gameplay and, unfortunately, an irritating and clichéd main character.

Driver: Renegade 3D's solid driving mechanics are squandered on overwhelming repetition and poor production values.

Unfortunately, Driver Renegade is yet another disappointing entry in a series full of them.

Good graphics, solid controls and a large open world city - the only thing missing is a challenge that lasts more than a couple of hours.

Quotation forthcoming.

Not just the giant cheapo pile of rubbish we expected - just a tiny, feeble, overpriced piece of crap. A genuinely awful addition to the 3DS library.
