But there’s a wide variety of approaches and the tactical puzzles are fun and challenging.I would have liked some navigational aids for the hub town and more help from the game when it comes to deck building. But Dungeon Drafters rewards players who are willing to invest time with beautifully crafted dungeons and engaging card and tile-driven battles.

Ultimately, Dungeon Drafters merges its ideas into a perfect, synchronous game that is easy and fun to learn while also challenging and satisfying to master.

Bright, colourful graphics and a clever combat system make Dungeon Drafters a delight to play. A cluster of irritations make its fights drag on a bit too much but its deckbuilding and smart mechanics make up for it.

Dungeon Drafters is sure to appeal to fans of RPGs and deck-building card games. With a fun grid-type battle mechanic, tons of cards/spells to collect, and different classes to use, this game will keep you busy for a long time!

What a heart-wrenching disappointment. Dungeon Drafters opens strong, but fails to use what makes it great to create a fun experience for the player. This goes far beyond “git gud.” Dungeon Drafters provides an illusion of choice, and with this many options, that’s borderline cruel. Allowing this amount of customization but requiring players to play a certain way is like hanging a steak out in front of a dog and never letting them eat it.

At present, Dungeon Drafters has an inventory of issues that include crashes, a frustrating user interface, balancing woes, and a script that desperately demands proofreading. Yet, for all these faults, there is potential in the mixture of grid-based movement and the sheer abundance of card-based attacks.
