The hacking option is truly a unique and amazing way to add additional interactivity into the game as well discover bonus content.

A game tailor made for action junkies and fans of "The Matrix," a couple of control changes and a slightly easier learning curve might have pushed this one into the "Must buy" category, but it is a solid title.

Merely an okay game that benefits greatly from its movie license.

Similar in style to games like "Devil May Cry" and "Max Payne," the Matrix lends it's unique style of martial arts and fighting to create an experience which can only be considered to be exceptional.

With well-rendered cinemas, obvious Hollywood-esque narrative direction, and enough signature Matrix fare from beginning to end via tightly implemented bullet time, the game captures ample essence to qualify as a solid translation.

All is not perfect in Enter the Matrix, but for its few flaws, the game delivers what it is meant to: a very convincing experience inside The Matrix that looks, smells, and feels like... The Matrix.

A blast to play - it's great mindless escapist fare - exactly like the movie.

The negative points of the title will be obvious to anyone not blinded by their love of the Matrix. Although most are mediocre they still add up to an unfinished, unpolished video game based on a super-popular movie franchise.

I have come here to tell you that I had no real problems with the control system for the Xbox, but I can see how some can find it tricky to use.

The game is by no means a weak attempt to cash in on a franchise...Gamers not only get tons of extra movie action but also get to run, kick, and shoot in a fully realized Matrix universe.

Seems to split its aim between hardcore "Matrix" fans and experienced gamers; if you find yourself with a foot in both camps, you may well find this one of the most faithful movie-to-game experiences in recent memory.

Wants to be so many different games that it doesn't excel at any one of them.

For fanz of the Matrix and those that must simply figure what the Matrix really is, will pick up Enter the Matrix and have a blast. For everyone else, Enter the Matrix is an above-average action game with some cool moves and awesome production values (but repetitive).

The presentation is excellent overall, but this does not make up for what seems to be yet another rushed movie-license game. Rent it first.

The first time you pull off a spinning kick off the wall, don't be surprised if a smile creases your lips. If only the whole game was able to capture the fun inherent in the fight sequences, it would be a true masterpiece.

Enter the Matrix isn't a perfect slice of interactive entertainment, but it does provide at least a dozen hours of action-packed fun and serves as a clever vehicle to expand on the events in "The Matrix Reloaded."

The music, sound effects, cool fight scenes, bullet time and being able to fight an Agent. It's all good. This is the very nature of a license – you love to hate them and hate to love them. They bring as many problems as they do solutions but every once in a while the good stuff outweighs the bad.

While the original plot and movie footage are an interesting look into the backstory between The Animatrix, Reloaded and the original film, the lackluster action, replayability and glitches severely hamper this title from truly being great.

There is plenty of fun to be had as long as you can tolerate some average graphics and a few levels of frustrating gameplay. The story alone is nearly worth the price of admission.

While Enter the Matrix ties in really well with the movie franchise, it isn't much of a game.
