ETS2 has its shortcomings – there's no visual representation of truck's damage, no snow and ice, cities are laughably small – but if you like to rest while watching the road unravel before your eyes, you won't find a better game.

Can this game already be called Simulation of the Year? Even before testing the Farming Simulator 2013? Maybe, but the Farming Simulator 2013 has one advantage: A multiplayer. But even without a multiplayer, the Euro Truck Simulator 2 is an awesome simulation. It has perfect graphics, great gameplay and a huge amount of details. Long story short: It's a showcase simulation.

It may sound like a joke that so many people are piling glowing praise on a trucking sim, but Euro Truck Simulator 2 is the real deal.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is the best truck simulation on the market. Buy it if you love the kings of the road.

The New Euro Truck Simulator is a game that will attract fans of previous games for many hours. I'm certain that many virtual drivers will spend weeks in their trucks driving through Europe. But if you're that kind of player that doesn't like driving trucks, there's nothing for you here - the rules haven't changed and the slow gameplay is as slow as before. But all in all, ETS2 is the best trucking game from SCS Software.

A surprising truly well-done simulation that puts you behind a truck letting you enjoy discovering and exploring Europe.

The question isn’t “why would you play a game about that?” The question is “why wouldn’t you play a game about that?” If only those people on that bus knew what they were missing.

The five new countries featured here are all quite beautiful, and offer a vast new road network to explore. This is bound to keep you trucking for hours as you explore every nook and cranny.

Improved controls, believable driving physics and a lot of other improvements make this the best freight vehicle simulator.

Connect to your inner trucker with Euro Truck Simulator 2, a simulation game that offers quiet moments as well as a challenge, and mostly just does a lot very well. Detailed environments, (delightful) long distances to drive and the building of your own trucking-empire are but a few facets of this surprising game.

Driving around in virtual Europe while listening to the radio or a good podcast is a surprisingly enjoyable and relaxing experience. An acquired taste, perhaps, but still a good game.

It does not matter how many truck simulations have already been released. This one is the best by far.
