The challenge of this game will bring out the best or the worst in a gamer, a true test of ability and skill. All of this is given to us with a great story, memorable characters, vivid settings, all wrapped up in a presentation that's second to none.

With excellent control, track design, graphics, sound, and customization, this is clearly the best F-Zero game in the series, and one of the best games on GameCube overall.

Few games deserve the high praise we're willing to lavish on F-Zero GX. Finely tuned, tightly balanced and exceedingly fun, it is a step above and beyond any similar games that have come before.

From a graphical standpoint, the game is mind-blowing. The characters and vehicles all look good, but what's really impressive is the backgrounds around each race and how fast they go screaming by.

I couldn't stop playing F-Zero GX. It's refreshing to see a racing game ditching the sim elements that seem to be a prerequisite nowadays in favor of more arcadey gameplay.

No other racing game even compares to F-Zero GX - it's a next-next-gen cyberrace before its time.

May well be the perfect GameCube title. With its amazingly complex racing model even experienced gamers are in for a substantial learning curve and newcomers to the series will be in for quite a shock. Visually stunning and a total blast to play.

Unparalleled lightening fast gameplay.

It's deep, it's visually stunning in the fact that it has a background to judge the incredible speeds, and what is more, it controls so bloody intuitively that Amusement Vision was able to create some truly mindbending tracks with which to torture you.

The track design is so unique and so incredibly cool that you won't believe it at first. There are more twists, turns and thrilling surprises (both graphical and gameplay-related) that you'll be in a state of shock for the first 20 minutes of play.

Speaking of unlockables, diehard players will find it near impossible to get everything.

Truly the master of high-speed, high-fun racing. This is one of those games you run out to by a new system for.

I absolutely worship the Green Plant: Intersection level. For that level alone this game is worth it.

The gameplay is sumptuous, and is helped along considerably by a smooth learning curve and a constant 60fps update. The biggest surprise of all, and one which we've mentioned several times, is the depth the game has to offer.

A fantastic game, but it's not for the weak of heart, or for racing newbies. If you don't fit into either of these categories, you'll have an absolute blast with F-Zero GX.

Few games leave my hands sweaty and clenched around the controller like F-Zero GX does. The difficulty level may scare away some new players (and maybe even some old ones), but it's a fun ride even when you're not winning.

At the end of the day, F-Zero GX is a speed-freaks dream come true. On top of being fast, Fast, FAST, FZ has great racing options, insane tracks, snappy control, a brilliant customize feature, and the ever-important fun factor.

Its sense of speed is unparalleled, its control mechanics unmatched, its level design mesmerizing, and its graphics and audio presentations superb.

Breathtaking visuals, pumping soundtrack and the creation of ultra speed are the perfect complement with the awesome track design and adrenaline charged competition.

Exhilarating and beautiful... For as much as the game is about speed and visual impact, it is also about feel and the overlooked art of track design. The game slams you in your seat, but it's also infused with the kind of stubtlety and attention to detail that only truly talented developers can muster.
