In the mystical land of Gensokyo somewhere in Japan, humans and yokai live together in strange harmony.
One day, some girls notice that their spirit energy is weak.

Yokai specialist Reimu Hakurei and her friend Marisa Kirisame spot someone running off on a racetrack...

Characters:

One girl acts as a board and one acts as a rider.

Use spell cards for interference, acceleration, and defense,

Gensou Skydrift has little going for it. There’s little to appreciate for fans of Touhou or racing games. The story doesn’t have much charm in it to justify getting it for the campaign and the character dialogue is forgettable gibberish. The racing is unappealing due to the often abysmal track design as well as the driving that feels clunky and simplistic. Gensou Skydrift is a title that’s only worth playing for the sheer novelty of playing a Touhou racing game where characters ride on top of each other.

Gensou: Skydrift is an awful game. There are 101 far more capable kart racers out there offering better value for money and far more fun.

GENSOU Skydrift may be essential if you’re a Touhou Project fan who always wondered, “Hey, how would those girls work as racing karts?”, but for everyone else, there are plenty of other much better racers out there.
