The audio is perfect, using clips straight out of the movie.

I haven’t had this much fun with a fighting game since… well, it’s been a long, long time.

Sure, there could have been a few more monsters included, sure the areas could have been a bit larger, but these are mere quibbles to the fun had in this game.

As far as multiplayer experiences go, Godzilla represents one of GameCube's very best. Add in a great, beautiful presentation and lots of subtle and not so subtle humor elements, and this one is a keeper for fighting and Godzilla fans.

The graphics are great and the gameplay, though a little sluggish, is just plain fun.

The best monster game since "Rampage."

Godzilla may not be the deepest game in the world, and it may lack variety, but it's one heck of a party game and a highly amusing feast for the eyes.

The fighting system isn't gargantuan, but the monsters make it fun.

Though it misses a beat here and there, DAMM ultimately rocks hard in the gameplay department.

The best Godzilla game to date. It would be a good brawler even without the big green guy, as the fighting mechanics are solid all-around.

Rent for you loners, buy for you fighter-lovers, either way, you should have a really good time.

The limited longevity and lack of subtlety tends to wear down an otherwise entertaining scrap-fest.

Melee's biggest blunder is that it just isn't campy enough.

The only big complaint to level against Godzilla is that it's a bit too simple...Call some friends over and have a blast with the multiplayer mayhem, but don't expect to be glued to the controller after they leave.

It's hard to top pummeling an opponent with a building you just ripped from its foundation.

Godzilla & Co. wrecking cityscapes and each other, with support up to four players. What's not to like?

And while the game has a variety of game-play modes, they aren't very deep once you've mastered the basics.

Godzilla can't compete with top fighting games like DOA3, but then you'd be foolish to expect it to. It's probably going to appeal more to people who like monster movies.

A little bit more polish would have helped this game considerably, but right now in its current form it more than satisfies my craving for devastation.

The top dog in large-scale fighting. The fact that it's covered with melted Japanese cheese is merely icing on the cake.
