For a $20 game, the environments look pretty dang good. You will be racing over and under tables and beds and plants plus whatever else they throw at you. I wouldn't say its eye candy, but they look good.

Everything about it screams budget ,sure, but there are much worse full-priced games on the Xbox.

Unforgiving AI, lack of play options to customize your game, and the annoying fact that you can’t restart a race during a championship really can make the game more aggravating than enjoyable.

Even at its sub twenty dollar price, Slot Car Thunder leaves me shuddering in a corner searching for a happier place. If the gameplay was at least competent...

This is the very definition of a budget racer and I don't mean that in a good way. Basic arcadey track designs mix with stupidly simple controls and poor graphics for an end experience that falls somewhere below the average.

Slot car racing is bloody boring enough without have to replicate it in a videogame. What's next? Snail racing?... It stinks.

The very definition of a stripped-down budget title, as practically every aspect that would make a game fun or interesting is missing.

Even though this is a budget title at about 20 bucks, there's no way the graphics and the frustrating gameplay justify the expense. You're better off saving up for something with more lasting appeal and more, well, fun.

Okay, what we're dealing with here is a racing game that doesn't let you steer. DO YOU UNDERSTAND THIS?! You can't steer... It's kind of like making a platforming game where you can't walk.
