With a killer track list, exciting new Quest mode, social networking, and more challenges and star rewards than most of us could ever earn in this lifetime, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is easily the biggest and the best installment of the franchise to date.

A quest mode that is fun and interesting, diverse set lists, and the inclusion of new power abilities will definitely find a special place with fans of the series.

This is the best Guitar Hero title to date and it returns to the formula that worked so well for Guitar Hero III. The storyline differentiates it from the competition and its over-the-top heavy metal look and feel work for it quite well.

Neversoft was able to renovate GH mechanics with a few good ideas which push Warriors of Rock lifespan into the stratosphere. Right after the first few hours you may realize that the core mechanics are almost the same, but still this is one of the most fun and accomplished episodes in the saga.

Still the game re-ignited my love for the genre and I have already shredded far more hours into this one than I had planned to invest.

Better than expected, the new Guitar Hero offers a great rock/metal tracklist (2112 from Rush will be long remembered). It's a great return to the roots of the saga, yet it lacks some true innovation, which we'll be seriously expecting for in the next future.

If you're looking for the next great leap forward, then sit tight and wait for Rock Band 3 with its new keyboard peripheral and Pro mode. However, if you're looking for a fun new twist on familiar mechanics, then there's absolutely nothing wrong with Warriors of Rock - if you can get past the fact that you have to play Nickelback.

In conclusion, I thoroughly enjoyed Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock and the minor tweaks in the game definitely makes it a fun experience. The quest mode is a blast to play and with its mythological heavy metal inspired story, it's definitely a great incentive to get players to finish the title.

Whether you're playing with buddies online or in the same room, or just battling through the career, this extremely polished sequel is an excellent way to rock out.

Although it is not forgiving with those not going to devote themselves to the cause of saving the god of rock, this Guitar Hero may save the franchise from decline.

Warriors of Rock offers a great rock/metal tracklist to Guitar Hero fans. The inclusion of new power abilities and new gameplay styles are a great return to the roots of the saga.

Warriors of Rock satisfies with a mostly rousing list of songs, still-addictive-as-ever gameplay and plenty of options for both solo players and groups. The only question now is what's left to do for the next time around.

In any event, overall Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is a good game; yet at the end of the day it is more of the 'same old.'

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock confirms all its precursor qualities and features, introducing a very enjoyable story mode and offering a great tracklist.

Better than perhaps expected, Warriors of Rock offers a great setlist, a nicely corny story mode and a smooth quickplay mode.

Rock - It's all about it. The latest chapter on Activision's franchise if one of its best so far, with a huge tracklist and plenty of new gameplay styles. Plus, we have a better graphic interface, tutorials, tons of multiplayer options... It's quite everything a die-hard could expect, only it doesn't change anything musically speaking.

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is a new beginning for this franchise. After years of casual tracklists without any sign of the good, old, rock, Guitar Hero is once again funny and addictive. Play it and love it.

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is often stupid and frequently silly, but I got caught up in shredding my way through the ridiculous experience. It doesn't matter if I was laughing with the game or laughing at it; I was entertained.

So if you've been pleased with the series so far and love the latest set list, you're going to have a blast with Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. But for everyone else who hasn't been completely sold on the Guitar Hero franchise, there's nothing going on here that's going to change your mind.

Overall, I liked the new direction of the franchise. Don't fool yourself though, this is still Guitar Hero, through and through.
