This game will have you wishing that it would never end and with 200 missions and a multi-player mode you will think you've died and gone to heaven.

Finally, a well-balanced, fun Mobile Suit Gundam game that not only looks and sounds great, but also stays true to the illustrious anime series.

Giant robots are great, but basing them on the Gundam license with Capcom developing makes them greater, if that's even.

The best part of Zeon is its massive 100-plus mission tree that puts you on the frontlines as a grunt on either side of the war.

Certainly the best Gundam title for the PS2 so far.

Depending on what you're looking for, Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs. Zeon will have extraordinary replay value and worth for some. For others, getting through the game will be a trial of patience and endurance.

The gameplay mechanics are sound, and there's enough variety in the missions that you won't become bored with either the arcade or campaign mode too quickly.

One of the best anime spin-offs on record.

This is the best game to appear in the canon yet, both for single-player and split-screen action.

What really sets this Gundam apart from the rest is that it actually controls pretty well.

Not the most in-depth or daunting example of the genre, however the accessibility of the game and enjoyment with a friend should endeavour its charms to more than a select few.

It’s closer to a ‘65’ for those of us that don’t care about or follow the TV series’ characters or TV plots, but it lacks the polish and proper balance (the Zeon side is heavily favored) to merit receiving the ‘70’ we were thinking of bestowing upon it.

Lacking in every way this game is good only for small kids, desperate mech-fans, or fans of the series.

It's a meaty release that doesn't bog the player down with complicating control configurations, drawn out cut scenes, and plot development that gamers will likely be familiar with already.

A decent action game. There are a few flaws and a lack of depth, but it’s definitely playable and fun.
