The next Helldivers 2 Warbond will go full baddies with armor and weapons from the Ministry of Truth
I wouldn't tell anyone in Super Earth's censorship, but I have a suspicion that the Ministry of Truth is not the most nice group of people. I can't prove this, but I'm a little worried about the truth I may receive from the people in bright crimson armor who are toting shotguns and flechette rounds.
Maybe it's because the new armor cosmetics resemble the type of guys that get cut up by the lightsaber-wielding heroes in Star Wars films? It could be a coincidence, I suppose.
I don't dislike the Warbond, but I do not like the look of the weapons. Truth Enforcers offers two new primary weapons for you to spend your hard earned medals on. The SG-20 Halt, a pump-action gun that can switch between stun rounds and armor piercing flechettes--shells which fire a hail a tiny crossbow bolts. It's a two-pronged attack: first, stun, and then perforate.
Let's move on. I am getting some concerns again.
You can also get the SMG-32 reprimand, which is a heavy SMG that, according to a post on Steam by the warbond, "also features a cool slap-reload, just as in the accurate and true-to-life films you love." Excellent. Truth Enforcers offers the PLAS-15 Loyalist Plasma Pistol, which can fire semiautomatically or charge heavier shots.
There are also cosmetics and armor sets for the Fashiondivers. The crimson plate is the Warbond medium armor set, the UF-50 Bloodhound. It's a color that's loved by evil sorcerers. If you prefer light armor, the UF-16 inspector armor in white with red accents is a great choice. Arrowhead describes it as "giving overseer." Both suits include the Unflinching active, which will make you less stagger when you take a hit.
You'll also be able to get an Inconspicuous Black paintjob for your mechs, pods and Pelicans. An At Ease Emote will give your Helldiver "a stoic commanding, order-following aura" and--let me double-check my notes--a title called "Free of Thought". This last bit is what I'm referring to.
The Truth Enforcers premium Warbond will be available on October 31.
