Hospital Tycoon Critic Reviews

You control every tile of the hospital floor, from the amount of vending machines to how much you pay your surgeons. It does get tiresome, especially after hearing the bossa-nova-flavored lounge music loop for the 70th time, but for a short while it can be as addictive as OxyContin.

It's cute in an exploding flatulence kind of way, but the actual gameplay itself is pretty tedious and repetitive.

Sadly rather disappointing. It's all the more disappointing because it promises so much and because it is so reminiscent of the classic "Theme Hospital."

Apathy-inducing hospital undrama.

Far too simplistic and lacking in challenge to be even vaguely capable of recommending, even at its budget price.

Sadly, ten years on, Hospital Tycoon has added nothing new to "Theme Hospital's" stellar gameplay and ends up feeling, a bit like its subject, cold and clinical.

Hospital Tycoon tries to inject a bit of drama into its by-the-numbers tycoon game formula, but ultimately ends up dead on the operating table.

Releasing this game in its current state is nothing short of reprehensible and Codemasters current stance of 'too bad' only makes matters worse.
