Its difficulty curve progresses gracefully, its atmosphere is immersive, and its visceral punch is straight to the gut.

The terrific visuals mixing with the well implemented sound effects and soundtrack make this game a real treat.

I would have liked to see the game have a few more levels but there is enough there to keep me entertained.

What differentiates Hunter from the other titles is the creativity in the weapons and monsters and something I like to call the 'oh (expletive)' factor. The 'oh (expletive)' factor is that 'oh my god' feeling when you see the amazing monsters scare the crap out of you in the game--and believe me they will.

One of the most fun, frenetic, addictive multiplayer action shoot-'em-ups on Xbox, and, most likely, any system.

Hunter mixes hectic combat with moments of dark humor, creating an intense atmosphere that is quite addictive...The only downside is the length.

Hunter: The Reckoning is a fun game. The single player mode is enjoyable on its own, but this was made to be a party game.

A bloody good game...If its good single-player action doesn’t get you addicted, then the excellent multiplayer romp definitely will.
