Despite small flaws, I have to admit, that I really liked the game. It is probably not the perfect adventure, but undoubtedly a great game.

This is a solid adventure in a wonderfully creative game world which will not disappoint.

A rather typical, albeit interesting and quite "warm" adventure game that will offer you about 10 hours of charming, old fashioned point and click gameplay.

While The Inner World certainly doesn’t push the envelope, neither does it cut any corners in delivering top-notch fun for the family.

Despite some shortcomings (a couple of minor technical issues, ugly cut-scenes) The Inner World is a charming point’n’click game that blows Memoria out of the water.

A very neat execution of a classic formula; an adventure full of charming and beautifully drawn characters. Furthermore, under the childish aesthetics, the game explores mature themes.

A nice short fairytale. There is nothing particularly clever or inventive about it, but you can’t help but enjoy playing it.

This graphical adventure works pretty much in every aspect aspect… as long as you speak German or English. If you are looking for classic gameplay mechanics and a good story, this may be your choice.

Perfect for classic point-and-click lovers who can't stop randomly combining items.

The Inner World is a classic point and click adventure with two-dimensional graphic. With some interesting theme and a technical achievement above the average, The Inner World missing a couple of goals that would been able to transform the graphic adventure from a simple game for enthusiasts, to a must-have title.

The Inner World is a game of opposites. While the puzzle design and characters of this debut manage to pleasantly surprise, the voice acting is in parts atrocious. Also, the stark contrast between the quality of the background art and the rather crudely drawn characters is a bit jarring. Still, this unevenness only really hits home because the rest of this point-and-click adventure is really well done.

If you’re trying to figure out what it is that makes The Inner World so satisfying, you’re really not going to be able to pick any one thing. The story, graphics, and gameplay are all okay, but it’s the sum of the parts that synthesizes The Inner World into the charming gem that it is.

Majority of the contemporary adventure games is more playable than this one. However, let us give the developers a second chance. Just for this time. They made an atypical game balance of the child's stylization and mature narration. Which we haven't seen for a while, and which will hardly come again in the future.

The Inner World turned out to be a very charming game with an interesting setting. If you're drawn to cartonesk looking games and are really into the point-and-click kind of puzzles, than you will certainly have a blast with this one. However, it's still missing some important elements so don't expect it to rock your world.

The Inner World is a nice point'n click adventure game, but its illogical universe can be a problem in some puzzles.

Takes its lessons from the old school classics like Monkey Island but won't take a stand alongside them due to weak production values and a story that sinks over time.

Even if you don’t like the gameplay, the story and setting are solid enough to where you can get at least some minimum level of enjoyment out of the game. If you are the type of person who enjoys playing adventure games with puzzles like the ones found in The Inner World, then you may get more than that out of it.
