Definitely lacking in some departments. However, the game functions well as a simple-structured fighting game, with the partner system a welcome addition.

The game is serviceable enough for even old-school types looking to take a break from the more methodical titles on the market. While it won't replace my love for "Street Fighter," at least there's something else I can play to get my brawl on.

Its simple yet strategic move set makes it amicable for amateurs or aces.

Those looking for more than a passable use of an anime license will likely be put off by the game's monotonously simplistic action.

Being able to control my favorite characters would be fun, but if the gameplay of those made-up games were the same as that of Inuyasha: Feudal Combat, well ... being a fan of a particular anime series only goes so far, you know?

Problem is, the gameplay is about as deep as your average bottle cap, with tiny, tiny movie lists and not much character balance.

This game will get boring quickly because there is no depth.

It's a blah fighter with only a passing reference to most of the InuYasha source material. There's no reason to experience this game if you're a fan of the show, and far better fighters out there if you're a fan of the genre.

The animation is choppy and the control response isn't very smooth. There are some collision detection problems where some hits don't register even though you can clearly see them connect on the screen.

InuYasha is pretty enough for a lowbrow button masher, but the primitive gameplay means looking at the screen is optional even if victory is not.

Nice touches like graphics and gameplay elements ultimately don't disguise this fighter's lack of depth.

Nothing more than a total button mashing snooze fest that's about as entertaining as eating a pile of boiled eggs, which for me isn't too entertaining.

If you dig dog-eared InuYasha and his rather violent friends, Feudal Combat is a pleasant diversion.

A horrible fighting system, PS1 like graphics and horrible computer controlled characters ruin this title.
