A faithful remake of the classic. The interface could be smoother on Nintendo DS, but there is nothing else to complain about.

Jagged Alliance marks the beginning of a new renaissance of turn-based modern warfare, then I will be the happiest gamer in the world. Militaires Sans Frontieres!

This game, by today’s standards, is incredibly boring, but there are many hours of play time here for those who get into it. Also, those who enjoyed the original PC game will get a kick out of the faithful reproduction.

Had Cypron Studios and Strategy First done more to modernize the ancient design of the game's original release, this review may have been entirely different. As it is, though, Jagged Alliance is faithful to a fault, likely to appeal exclusively to fans of the original with no concern for the broader audience.

This classic turn-based strategy game feels old and slow on the Nintendo DS.
