A pretty good street racing game.

Graphically, Juiced is very slick without getting too superfluous.

Aside from a few very nitpicky items, Juiced performs like a well-oiled machine and brings something a bit different to this popular genre. If you're looking for a tuner-style title with a bit of a twist, look no further.

The Juiced of 2005 is virtually unrecognisable from the Juiced of 2004, and quite frankly it puts "Need For Speed Underground" to shame.

The heart of Juiced is the pedal-to-the-medal street racing. And that's where it shines like a freshly buffed coat of pearlescnet paint.

As far as racers go, Juiced presents the best culture integration of any game this year, something woefully lacking in the genre.

It's no "NFS Underground 2" or "Midnight Club 3" but it is a worthwhile addition to any racing game fan's library with its unique features, strong career mode and easy pick up and play engine.

Juiced has come a long way since the fall of Acclaim. It's still a huge undertaking, full of masses of depth, but it now plays and looks a damn sight better too.

The gameplay is varied enough to maintain interest, and its clutch of quirky distractions adds to the experience.

In the end, Juiced may go down as a great rental, and a solid racing game. But otherwise it falls into the background as just another underground racing game.

A serious game for serious racers with an ancillary interest in accounting and business management. Racing is just a small part of this game that happens when you aren't worrying about building up an empire of cars, earning more money or the respect of your peers.

If only Juiced had come out last year rather than now, it would have been much better received and wouldn't have to compare to NFSU2, Forza and Burnout 3 to name a few.

Juiced certainly has the makings of an average street racer, with lots of customizables and affected street appeal.

We have to thank THQ from pulling this franchise from the doomed Acclaim brand because Juiced is a good, fun racing game that has some canny ideas.

The level of customization is really great and the gameplay is good as well. If nothing else, Juiced is a really good weekend rental.

In relation to the more arcade-based titles available at the moment this game is the leader of the pack, as it manages to deliver everything that makes street racing enjoyable at a high standard, in one neat package.

While Juiced does possess some elements of originality, the net effect still doesn't make the game particularly distinctive or give it any kind of edge over Electronic Arts' chart-topping series.

The biggest problem is that we've seen everything Juiced has to offer before.
