Karmazoo is a wonderful cooperative puzzler that encourages wordless teamwork in a way that should lead to chaos but instead results in elegant simplicity - most of the time. With its cute sense of humor and even cuter character designs, there’s a huge amount of appeal in simply unlocking and trying new characters, of which there are many. A game about being polite to strangers is as twee as it sounds, and it’s a tweeness I’m absolutely here for...Plus you can be a duck.

Proving that we can all get along, KarmaZoo is a unique co-op platformer that focuses more on altruistic actions than personal glory. With gorgeous presentation and a set of fun cooperative mechanics, this is an online experience that breaks moulds and makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.

KarmaZoo is here for a good time, not a long time, at least it packs some of the most fun multiplayer platforming I've experienced in recent memory.

KarmaZoo doesn’t nail every animal form you get to control, but far more often than not, new forms were a joy to unlock, and its pace kept me looking forward to what was coming next. Throw in strong controls, an excellent look, and a game where players both have to and will want to work together, and you have a winner. Anyone looking for a game to play with others without having to dedicate hours every day should absolutely check out KarmaZoo.

KarmaZoo is a cooperative platformer that manages to entertain in its simplicity and fun, allowing up to ten players to join forces to overcome a series of procedurally generated levels. The rich roster of characters is one of the strengths of the new game experience made by Pastagames, which is characterized by problems related to a game structure that may bore you after a few hours of play.

KarmaZoo is a charming and cute platformer that places co-operation and togetherness at the forefront of an experience that, without a keen community, could be a fleeting one. And that’d be a shame, because both Loop and Totem serve up an undeniably fun way to stay on the universe’s right side.

KarmaZoo gets a lot more right than it doesn't. Ultimately, it succeeds in delivering a simple but fun experience, and its clever design means players behave positively and altruistically. If you're looking for an online game with good vibes and friendly co-op, this is it.

KarmaZoo has a proposal that in practice only works when playing with friends. It's almost impossible to complete and have fun with randoms. In the end, it's an interesting platform game, with a unique concept, but honestly only worth playing with people you know.

KarmaZoo’s creativity and ingenuity make it incredibly appealing, especially when layered with its humorous character and charm. However, whether you can stick it out for the long haul to enjoy the game at its fullest is another matter entirely. There is plenty to love and I’d recommend it for any social night, but I don’t think we would ever stick with it long enough to unlock even half the avatars.

KarmaZoo has a noble goal, but the situational nature of things means the stars essentially need to align for things to work perfectly. You need to either get a good group of friends who all own the game together or hope your random session is filled with people who both are serious about working together and unlocked helpful characters. It’s too easy for things to not be exactly ideal, and I’d say about two thirds of all my gameplay sessions were fine as a result.
