Summary
King of Fighters returns with a roster of 50 characters. Besides the returning fan favorites, numerous new combatants join the roster. Nakoruru, one of the heroines from the Samurai Shodown series, joins the fight along with her fellow hawk companion Mamahaha. Shun’ei is a new character who plays an important role in the game’s story.
Plus, numerous emblematic and original characters prepare to duke it out in the KOF tournament.

While these complaints are not enough to cripple the game, it’s a shame that SNK has done such a tremendous job with most of the things that matter, only to stumble on certain design issues. Minor missteps aside, It’s pretty brilliant, and it’s safe to say that the series has made the leap to 3D surprisingly well despite still needing some polish, and maybe a bit of a facelift as well.
