With its impeccable balance of difficulty, satisfyingly simple level design, and insurmountable overload of squishy charm, Return to Dream Land provides a platform experience that comes as close to perfect as one can get...Videogames simply do not get any more pure than Kirby's Return to Dream Land.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land features a little bit of everything Nintendo does right on the Wii all in one pleasurable package: the return of a classic Nintendo character, classic old-school platforming gameplay and excellent family-focused multiplayer.

In the last couple of years, Nintendo has absolutely spoiled me (and other platformer fans) with amazing 2D games. While this year's crop cannot compare to Christmas 2010's unbeatable combo of Epic Yarn and Donkey Kong Country Returns, Return to Dreamland more than holds its own in a crowded arena. This is exactly what you look for in a Kirby game – and I know I'll be hopelessly addicted to it well into the new year.

A very fun, classic game that delights in its streamlined, simple appeal. The gameplay avoids most of the conventions associated with modern day platformers, especially Wii platformers, but the new additions and ideas are placed tastefully without getting in the way of the classic feel of the franchise.

Kirby fans have been waiting a long time for a return to the classic Kirby experience, but after playing Kirby's Return to Dreamland, it's perfectly clear that the wait was well worth it. Not only are the colourful visuals absolutely stunning, but the classic gameplay, although a tad on the easy side, has never played better or featured more variety.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land makes absolutely no concessions in its quest to appeal to a wider audience. Newcomers will still feel welcome, but at the same time, longtime Kirby fans will also feel fully respected too. It perfectly integrates old Kirby staples with new features like the super abilities, and despite the Wii's graphical shortcomings compared to 360/PS3, it couldn't be more visually appealing.

Kirby's Adventure Wii is a resounding success in every single area.

Back to the roots for the little pink guy with Kirby's Adventure Wii. The creature eats again, and can now have three friends with it to join the party. The game is super easy, and doesn't invent anything new, but it remains the original Kirby we know and love, and it works.

If you've been hoping for a hardcore, mega-challenging, controller-tosser, this probably isn't for you. But if you like the idea of exploring an incredibly well realised world, with loads of variety and gameplay that won't rule out the very young (or very old...), Kirby's latest adventure is a rare treat - doubly so if you've got friends or family to enjoy it with. Highly recommended.

Pretty much the exact Kirby game we all wanted. Sure, his animal companions aren't involved (seriously, Nintendo, bring them back), but the same gameplay that made Kirby Super Star so much fun back in the 90s is present and accounted for.

Kirby goes back to his roots. No strings, no plurality, just ace co-op adventuring.

Kirby's Return to Dreamland is the game die-hard fans have been waiting for for years. Though recent bouts have found the series moving in more of an experimental direction, the traditional Kirby game is what gamers will always want the series to revert back to.

That said, any issues I have with Kirby's Return to Dream Land are relatively minor; this is an exceptional title, whether you're a longtime Kirby fan or not.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land remains a solid but simple game in the series.

While it doesn't have the challenge of Donkey Kong Country Returns or the charming art style of Kirby Epic Yarn, Kirby's Return To Dream Land is another formidable entry in a line of great side-scrolling Wii platformers.

Playing Kirby's Return to Dream Land is a combination of nostalgic fun and the child-like charm felt from every Kirby title.

Newest addition to the Kirby franchise feels once again fresh and new. The mix of platformer and ancient Lemmings works like a charm and the game design is well balanced. This game truly is a proper testament for the aging DS.

Return to Dream Land is yet another Nintendo title that should be bought by all, as it is a worthy holiday release for the Wii console indeed.

While it doesn't inspire the imaginative wonder of Epic Yarn, Kirby's Return to Dream Land is a welcome return to the gameplay that got this hero off the ground. The structure feels a bit formulaic at times, but it's challenging and true enough to form to keep Kirby fans of all ages from feeling deflated.

Kirby's Return to Dreamland is a solid platformer for the whole family. The game is pretty easy and offers a lot of things to explore and use (challenges, hidden ways and power ups), but it's definitly not as good as Kirby's Epic Yarn.
