Summary
A magical crystal that supplies infinite water to the small village of Nohl is stolen by force, causing a solar eclipse that drowns the land in an evil light, making monsters more abundant and powerful and placing the village's survival at stake. Something that I believe the RPG genre on the PS2 really needs: a hardcore, difficult RPG that appeals to the gamers that grew up playing the classics on the SNES.

The Tactical Arts System, along with the introduction of Origins and the inclusion of menial tasks like gardening and cooking provides an inimitable gameplay experience. However, graphical and sound flaws might dissuade newcomers to the genre.
