Majora's Mask is a risky, inventive classic. This 3DS remake might annoy purists, but most of the changes are for the better.

A magnificent remastering of one of the finest Legend of Zelda games to date. The visual overhaul, the streamlined features and other improvements make this version an even more enjoyable and accessible experience than the original N64 release.

To say that The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D is the stand out best game in the Zelda series is, indeed, a daring - and inaccurate - verdict, given the calibre of the series. However, there can be no doubting that this is the most alluring and positively tortuous game within the series, and for that reason alone, it is worth everyone's time.

Like Ocarina of Time 3D, Majora’s Mask 3D is a must-play. It’s ironic that a game about time travel would prove to be so irresistibly timeless.

Majora’s Mask 3D’s small but significant changes push it just far enough ahead of Ocarina of Time 3D to make it as unique of an experience as it was fifteen years ago.

Thankfully Majora’s Mask 3D has more going for it than simple strangeness, delivering a poignant mix of big heroics and touching humanity on top of the solid Zelda formula.

To my immense surprise, I haven’t fallen for a Zelda game like this since I played the The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (1991). Evidence of master craftsmanship is everywhere in this game. By the time you’re flipping a temple upside down then right side up, you may discover that your imagination has been enlarged.

Another great remaster for one of the most special Nintendo games. Dark, complex and challenging, the sequel to Ocarina of Time has an incredible side-quest system and this version adds some improvements like great 3D effects and better visuals.

It is a powerful and emotionally driven tale that features an incredibly clever structure that is far more intelligent than anyone really gave it credit for at the time. It’s equally intriguing and unsettling spending time in this bizarre version of Hyrule, with characters you have met before…but are different, here.

Majora’s Mask is an odd one, but it’s a legendary game from Nintendo’s library, and one that deserves a rerelease. With its graphical improvements and system enhancements, one of the best Zelda games is even better this time around — and that’s really saying something.

It's great to see Nintendo showcasing the darkest title in the series. It is a turning point in understanding the present of the franchise.

This is probably the darkest, weirdest and most unique Zelda ever released, and it's still as good as it was on N64. The visual improvements and the gameplay tweaks are reason enough to go back to it, if you haven't played it before.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D is a great chance to (re)discover one of the most unique Nintendo masterpieces, retouched with some fantastic taste, smartness and skill.

After years of petitioning we have our Majora’s Mask remake, and it’s absolutely worth the time.

Majora’s Mask for 3DS represents the best execution of the game, boasting impressive graphics and extraordinary gameplay depth.

If you’re a fan of the series, this is one you definitely don’t want to overlook.

It works extremely well on the New 3DS, with the system’s rubber clit working surprisingly well in manipulating the camera.

Purists will decry the changes made to Majora’s Mask no matter how slight they may be, but I am seated firmly in the “change is good” camp. It’s everything you remember, but without the boredom or frustration related to the passage of time.

Majora's Mask 3D is the most powerful and thorough remastering we've played in the Zelda franchise. Each corner of Termina has been revamped with an unusual sense of thoughtfulness and love to its fans. Finally, the wait was worth it.
