We actually worry about Kalypso in general at the moment as well, as few of their games to date have been that well received. We had high hopes for Legends of Pegasus. It pains us to see them dashed once again.

Please, Calypso and Nova Core: Rescue, what can be saved.

Legends of Pegasus could be a great game, but at the moment suffers for too many bugs. Interesting for the future, once patched.

Sadly, technical problems make this game nearly unplayable- it’s like Legends of Pegasus launched half-finished. Somewhere, deep inside, there’s a great game, with an interesting space-opera story, presented like a graphic-novel … but in the end, the worst alien menace in Legends of Pegasus is not the race of X’or or Arthrox but the bugs. And not like the bugs in Starship Troopers…

Legends of Pegasus had a grand plan, but developer Novacore didn't come close to pulling off what it set out to do. Like storied Bellerophon, its hubris has proved its ultimate undoing.

Legends of Pegasus can't be considered as a good debut. A turn-based strategy game focused on exploration and management should be relaxing and go well with some tea and biscuits. In case of this game you will need sedatives, because Legends of Pegasus can trigger some really negative emotions. The game look nice. So what? The game has potential. So what? The game is quite complex. So what? All of this loses with constant CTDs.

Legends of Pegasus is a warning to all other developers in the 4X strategy genre – if you can't make a solid game, don't bother trying. In space, no one will hear you squeal.

An impenetrable mess with almost nothing to recommend it. Cast this one into the void.

Legends of Pegasus game is perfect example of how to turn ambitious projects into something you do want to forget as fast as possible.

It's hard to say how much patches can fix this wreck, because right now its technical issues eclipse everything, to the point where it's barely even a game. But what is there, in the brief moments you can play it before it crashes, does not tie together into a coherent strategy game.

Legends of Pegasus doesn't work. It's a collection of 3D objects on a nice background, which sometimes do something that resemble a strategy game. This 4X-game lacks explanation, a simple bug-test and a good game-UI-designer. People did it better twenty years ago.
