An exhilarating experience and the best new game I’ve played in months.

Fun, fast and refreshing. It's open to everyone that just wants to get involved with a game that isn't any more difficult to learn than Monopoly.

If you have never really been a fan of this genre I urge you to give this one a try. It’s a breeze to play and will have any armchair General screaming Charge!

This is definately your classic strategy game, made by a team that really likes the genre.

There's more here than meets the eye.

Legion Arena is a good buy for any gamer that loves playing General. It satisfies the need for a quick bloody battle and yet still provides enough depth to keep it all interesting.

If you need a quick sword-and-sandals fix and want to fight epic battles in real-time and on a detailed 3D landscape, then Legion Arena might just be for you.

Legion Arena is all about the combat, no deciding what crops to raise or whether to feed your troops or the starving peasants.

What makes this game worthy also makes it hard to recommend to anyone but strategy first gamers.

This tactical combat game features battles, battles, and more battles, and it's fun, though very light on content or depth.

While it’s no mega contender, it does have its charm and could easily be one of those games you find yourself visiting time and time again.

The history-lesson-as-a-backdrop is somewhat interesting, and the tactical portion of the game has some depth. It’s nothing revolutionary, but if you’re a serious fan of the genre then Legion Arena might be worth a look.

It takes something special for a game to stand out from the group, and sadly Legion Arena fails to do this.

As a single-player game, Legion Arena is entertaining in small doses, but lacks that compelling "just one more turn" quality that the best strategy games have.

Huge engagements that should run several times as long feel more like football downs, and you can easily swing a half-dozen matches in less time than it takes most NFL teams to inch forward 10 yards.

A half-baked "Rome: Total War" wannabe that just fails to make the grade.

Despite the superficial resemblance to “Rome: Total War”, Legion Arena is just the latest 3D version of the same simple wargame the developer has been peddling for a while.

Tactical freaks won't find much here to really challenge them, but Legion Arena might serve as a good introduction for players unfamiliar with this type of strategy game.

Granted, there's potential aplenty here, but with AI this idiotic, Legion Arena can only go down as a massively missed opportunity, more fit for the glue factory than the glories of war. Shame really.

"Nothing new" is the mantra for Legion Arena. It’s fun, has good strategy, is multi-player enabled, but really nothing new. Just another solid title from Strategy First.
