If you’ve played those other titles, you’ll feel right at home in the Dark Knight’s plastic paved Gotham. And, if you’ve enjoyed those titles, and are looking for more of the same but with a Batman facelift, you may find this the best Lego entry yet.

Batman Lego is awesome, simply awesome. It’s great to play alone or with a friend in the story mode or without restrictions in free play.

With a great variety of levels, tons of things to smash and collect, and a loveable cast of iconic heroes and villains, LEGO Batman is a fun and enjoyable title that will appeal not only to younger gamers but to Batman fans alike.

Another fantastic LEGO game. LEGO Batman is simple enough for kids to mash their way through, but addicting and deep enough to hold the interest of their parents, and the rare game perfect for them to play together.

A cheesy, lighthearted and consistently fun merging of the Caped Crusader's comicbook world with the Lego videogame formula, which is expanded but not fundamentally changed here. The format may be getting a bit tired, but Batman is the best fit for it yet given his huge array of villains, vehicles and gadgets.

A really enjoyable game that is great for solo and co-op gaming.

Being a fan of Batman, and the Animated Series especially, there's a lot to love with what Traveller’s Tales has done with the license.

With a unique plot, great characters, and gameplay that’s fun for both kids and adults, Lego Batman continues the sheer fun of the series and is a great game on all available platforms.

While the Dark Knight might not seem the ideal candidate for the happy and cheerful Lego world, the entire affair is handled with a good-natured wink, and we are all reminded that the purpose of these games is to take us to a world where the lines between good and evil are clearly defined and evil is more a thing of comic mischief than serious malice.

While the formula is definitely on its last legs, LEGO Batman’s simple fun is engaging and even gets better as you go. The omission of online play is a disappointment, but thanks to a lineup of strong characters, more levels, and gameplay tweaked to fit the Dark Knight’s style, LEGO Batman is the best of the LEGO breed.

Fans of the Lego series are in for another treat with Lego Batman.

An easy game to play with simple and intuitive controls. You’re drawn into the game within five minutes and you may find yourself playing three hours later without knowing where the time has gone.

It isn’t a bad game; it’s just not a particularly original or innovative one. Those checking out a LEGO video game for the first time should enjoy how it plays, but those who have at least one LEGO game in the collection should try it before buying.

This game has a fresh new angle to it, letting you throw batarangs and use different suits to reach otherwise inaccessible areas.

That the game feels overly familiar is undoubtedly a good thing.

Grown-ups will find it cute enough for a single playthrough, but kids will be wearing the disc out for weeks to come. Another hugely entertaining, carefully constructed gem of kiddy gaming.
