The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame stands out from other LEGO games, not for the huge game changes but for the little additions that are often unappreciated. I thoroughly enjoyed this title and I am looking forward to playing more.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Game is a terrific contribution to the LEGO games playlist. It's a fun experience without needing to be anything else. It can err on the side of triviality at times, but that's the cost of making a game like this.

Probably the best Lego game I’ve played since Lego Marvel Super Heroes.

Another fun and plenty of humor LEGO adventure. Not the best in the series, but a good one anyway.

The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game is a really entertaining game. It focuses more on action and combat than in puzzles and exploration and that gives it a special personality that makes it feel different from other LEGO Games. Sadly, it also shares the same formula that we have seen in practically all the other LEGO games from the last decade and so, the surprise factor is completely absent.

Even though The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game is full of fun moments that you can enjoy with a pal, constant technical issues and repetitive gameplay hold it back from being the next great Lego game. That said, long-time fans of these blocky video game adventures will surely have a blast in yet another vibrant and memorable plastic world.

Even though this LEGO game is a little bit monotone, it really is a great combination of action, humor and freedom to explore. A great game for those who have followed the saga.

It’s by no means a great game, but The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame does more than enough to avoid accusations of being an egregious cash-in. The simple co-op platforming coupled with the invigorated combat system deliver a game that’s a mindless bit of fun.

The LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game is another good entry in the LEGO series of games. The increased focus on combat pays off with a fleshed out system that makes each character feel unique, while the free-running provides enough safety nets to keep you from getting frustrated. Despite a couple of technical hiccups and a poorly thought out ending, LEGO NINJAGO has so much going for it that the overall experience isn't dampened.

The Lego Ninjago Movie Game does a great job of bringing the full film experience to your console and wrapping it up with the next step in Lego gameplay . It’s fantastic to see a return to the style of the Lego Movie Videogame, as opposed to the Lego Batman Movie’s half-accurate Lego Dimensions pack, but it’s bittersweet when all of that good work is somewhat undone by last-gen technical flaws which have somehow found their way back in.

Innovation in a LEGO game? LEGO Ninjago tries it and succeeds... mostly. Unfortunately, the overly chaotic nature of the gameplay coupled with an annoying camera somewhat sucks the joy out of the proceedings.

The Lego Ninjago Movie Videogame is a solid entry in the Lego series, providing a few new tweaks to the gameplay compartment that make the game feel fresh compared to other recent entries.

It’s not the best Lego title, but it’s a fun game for a family friendly co-op (it does stutter a bit on PS4 in split-screen mode though). I was not very impressed, by my kid was over the moon. If you’ve already finished better Lego games (City, Hobbit, the latest Star Wars), you can pick up Ninjago – it will be fine, but nothing more.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game will provide some fun for fans of the film and the characters, but its high asking price and relative lack of content may underwhelm those who enjoy the typically better LEGO titles.

It’s always a shame when a game has such an incredible foundation and never becomes what it should. Fans of LEGO games and of the movie will have fun regardless, because we’re a bit crazy like that. But if you don’t fall in the crazy category, best bet is to wait for the next LEGO game that will hopefully feature this same innovation.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame is a lot of fun, but the camera angles are diabolical in co-op, detracting from the fun that playing with someone normally brings. The story is weak, but the humour more than makes up for it, and the diverse combat feels great to control, especially when racking up a 100-hit combo.

The Lego Ninjago Movie The Videogame is a hack and slash addressed to little kids, with a sense of humour which connects with the youngest audition and a challenge very easy to achieve due its very simple mechanics.

I’d be lying if I said it didn’t keep my thumbs busy for a few days and a smile across my face. Filled with light-hearted comedy, the game is a breath of fresh air for those looking for lighter fare in their Fall lineup. And while the game certainly feels limited due to it being so tied to the underlying movie it is based on and technical issues, the game is a solid purchase for both children and children at heart.
