A spectacular gem of a game that’s for once suitable for just about anyone.

If you don't break into a big, dopey grin while running around shattering LEGO Battle Droids into their component parts, then you should just put videogames down for good -- you've outgrown them.

The only real complaint that I have is that there are no voiceovers. The game is relatively mute. Fortunately the personality of the characters is able to transcend this limitation but the game is far from silent as it utilizes the incredibly rich, John Williams scores for theme and background music in addition to all of the sound effects from the Lucas library.

This Lego retelling of the prequels is both a loving tribute and an amusing parody.

The graphics are simply state of the art. Virtual Lego, and perfectly implemented.

It may not be the most technically accomplished game to have graced our screens, but the plain and simple fact is that it’s so much fun to play, it’s almost indescribable.

The game is addictive. I just couldn’t put it down until I was done playing.

This is one game, perhaps the only game, where it's a compliment to say that the graphics are blocky.

There may be other Star Wars games out there but Lego Star Wars covers more in one game than most of them and focuses only on the sequences rather than whole films which makes for excellent gameplay.

It's great being able to play through all three of the latest movies in one sitting, even if their storylines are a little watered down.

Sure, LEGO Star Wars is easy. Sure, it looks like a game for kids. These things are undeniable; however, what else is undeniable is just how much fun that playing this game is, despite its appearance.

I defy any gamer with even a modicum of affection for Star Wars or LEGO to play this game and not have a good time with a big grin on his face.

If you’re a Star Wars fan, even an old school purist like me, you will have a blast playing this game, especially if you have kids to help you out.

The gameplay isn't going to challenge hardcore gamers as the enemies simply aren't that tough, but the presentation really shines.

It has everything a family-oriented title needs: it has personality, puzzles, cooperative modes, replay value, low violence, a lack of frustrating difficulty, and most importantly, it has Darth Vader.

Whatever you do, don't let its cute appearance fool you. The force is strong with this one!

Oh man, General Grievous is a cool boss. He has four lightsabers! Four!

That co-op feature makes this among the best kids games out there, because parents and kids can directly play together.

If you're a Star Wars fan wondering where the magic went, look no further.

Most interestingly, the game will appeal to both kids and adults, as its simple pick-up-and-play action is accessible to almost anyone of any age.
