Except for the tutorials and the long sessions it requires, it's a wonderful adventure in every aspect that offers tons of fun.

So it is that 3DS's incredible first-party run continues. In the year that has given us the definitive Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing it only makes sense that AlphaDream should step up and deliver the best Mario & Luigi game yet.

Nintendo have another winner on their hand and if you're looking for a game that will keep you busy for hours upon hours than Mario and Luigi: Dream Team Bros. is that game. The gameplay is quite unique on the 3DS and successfully merges two gaming genres, RPG and Arcade to create this interesting hybrid with a whole lot of fun at the same time. Add in a clever combat system and a variety of whacky super moves and you, Mario and Luigi will be working successfully together to rescue the beautiful Princess Peach.

A superb addition to the Mario & Luigi series and the 3DS library.

Funny addictions to the original formula make this M&L adventure one of the best entries in the series. Happy new year… Luigi!

In the hands of Mario & Luigi enthusiasts and those up for an epic but light-hearted quest, this is an indispensable must-have for the 3DS. In a universe apart from any other series starring the famous brothers, this once again shows the merits of a studio investing itself whole-heartedly not just in one game, but a whole franchise.

After the slight disappointment of the latest Paper Mario entry which did abandon many of the ideals that had made it such a pleasure in the first place, it's a relief to see the same hasn't happened here. If anything, the pieces that make this unique are stronger than ever. If more can be made of these procedures that are now part and parcel of the idea in the future to stop familiarity from setting in, Mario & Luigi could have more life in it still.

Presentation and humour are as charming as ever, level and mission design are incredibly varied, the challenges are a league of their own. Don’t let this gem pass you by.

Mario and Luigi share a new RPG adventure that is funny from the begining, give us surprises until the ending and offers plenty of hours of enjoyment and humour. Recommended for Nintendo 3DS owners in general.

Mario & Luigi Bros. Dream Team is a true masterpiece, the best of the four role-playing games developed by AlphaDream for DS. It's the most psychedelic, chock full of things to do and boss fight at every turn, it's filled with dry humor and the standard gameplay is originally supplemented with a 2D world.

An absolutely resounding success that follows on superbly from the amazing Bowser's Inside Story.

Nintendo is in great form here, bringing some of the same magic, surprise and humor that made the original Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga so enjoyable. A perfect candidate for best 3DS game of the summer.

This may be one of the most memorable handheld titles you’ll play this year. And what a special year it is.

Nintendo’s 3DS is suddenly brimming with great first-party games, and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team is a standout among them. Don’t miss it.

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team is an excellent addition to the series. I do feel it’s a little too easy at times since you can save anywhere and restart from battles when you die, so that may turn away some gamers. Still, the Luigianary Works mechanic shakes things up a bit in a good way to keep things from being too monotonous.

These complaints are relatively minor when weighed against the overall fun and creativity of the game, though, and it's pretty easy to recommend this game to just about every 3DS owner.

For all this, we must consider Dream Team Bros. an essential game for Nintendo 3DS, and we cannot forget the great location for Portuguese.
