We finally received a compilation of the best minigames in Mario Party history. While the game itself suffers the lack of other content, each minigame is as great as you remember and the Download Play function makes it a great option for multiplayer experiences.

This top 100 of all Mario Party games is surprisingly fun. It offers a singleplayer mode and a lot of diversity in the minigames. Even Amiibo are supported. Sadly the game has no online option though. Definitely a fun bunch of games to enjoy for hours.

Although Mario Party: The Top 100 contains an impressive amount of mini-games that are still super-fun to play, the modes to enjoy the mini-games within are unfortunately lacking. That being said, if you're looking for a comprehensive Mario Party experience that you can enjoy with a few friends on the go then this is one collection that you should definitely not overlook.

Mario Party: The Top 100 is an awesome opportunity for new players to know the past of this series, even when the lack of the board game shows strong differences in playability.

Mario Party: The Top 100 is a nice mini-game collection, which quickly runs out of steam despite the large selection.

While it can make for an enjoyable title for younger players who can easily grab some friends and compete in short spans of time, Mario Party: The Top 100 doesn’t have quite enough to keep players coming back to it in the way any other main line entry has been able to over all these years.

The most savvy players will surely appreciate a playful offer like the one offered by The Top 100, never really difficult and graphically satisfying. Older players, on the other hand, would do better to look for something else to fill their evenings with friends.

Mario Party: The Top 100 is an interesting game, especially to play with your friends.

A lot of included mini-games are genuinely fun, but those based on blind luck are completely useless.

Mario Party Top 100 is a great look back on the history of mini games from the franchise, and I can’t fault it for that. It really brought back a lot of great memories and I appreciate that. Those that never played the games prior can have an interesting look at some of the more fun and insane mini games Nintendo has concocted over the years, but it’s a really obscure view of what made the Mario Party games fun overall. Even though the mini games were a blast, the other half is missing, and it’s just not a party without them.

This game is a fun collection of the most popular minigames in Mario Party history, but the content of the game is too little to really make it an interesting replay.

Mario Party: The Top 100 wants to prove that minigames can stand by themselves, but fails in doing so; its minigames, lacking the classic party mode, become boring after a while, and the game is only truly recommandable to those who have three friends ready to join them in this far from perfect blast from the past.

Mario Party: The Top 100 values quantity over quality, with a huge array of different events tied by a very basic connection. The overall result is basically an opportunity to regret how good and passionate the old chapters were.

Mario Party: The Top 100 is a game that, even though it has 100 of the best minigames of the saga, it feels very short. Very uninspired game mode and very little content make this game incapable of standing on the same level as Nintendo has been this year.

Mario Party: The Top 100 is a pretty nice compilation of mini games but those are not enough to keep players entertained for a long time. Unfortunately the lack of multiplayer online modes trash away all the good things: no friends, no party.

100 varied mini-games, visual improvements and the inclusion of a single player campaign. Unfortunately, the absence of the classic boards of the saga and the almost non-existent replayability in the single-player mode undermine the overall experience.

Mario Party: The Top 100 is an attempt to recapture the favorite mini-games of our youth and offer it in portable form. While the games themselves play well and the ones they selected are all top notch, without having any solid structure or unlockables, the game quickly loses interest and goes from being the latest party game to being the best time killer you could possibly get on the 3DS.

Mario Party the Top 100 is a missed opportunity. The idea of bringing together the best of the series in a game was good but it has been poorly executed with lack of motivation to return to play. The almost complete absence of the classic board game fun is an incomprehensible decision.

Mario Party: The Top 100 is a pretty bare-bones experience, one that has little to offer for those who aren't interested in local multiplayer.

There is a lot to love in the way Nd Cube brought back 100 beloved minigames from the Mario Party series, but this package falls short in the content used to deliver those bite-sized delights. Mario Party: The Top 100 may hold the record for the most minigames, but it certainly has the least amount of content and the lowest replayability. The game set out to compile a collection of the best minigames in the series; that goal was accomplished with great results. That makes the initial time spent with Mario Party: The Top 100 an awesome walk through nostalgia lane - unfortunately the rest is a rushed project; with that in mind it fails to live up to its full potential.
