It looks incredible, sounds great, and plays beautifully...what's not to love? If you haven't yet tried out this excellent series, this is the best game to start on.

What Zero 4 is is a deeper experience with lots of tiny extras tacked onto the classic 2D style gameplay that all Blue Bomber fans enjoy.

This is a polished, dead-on addition to a franchise in which a sore thumb stands out.

The controls are smooth and consistent, the graphics are sharp and the fighting is satisfying once you put in the practice.

If you want replay value, then you probably want to count the 15 times you have replayed a level before beating it.

Despite any changes or additions, everybody knows what Mega Man is all about, and if you liked any of the previous games you'll probably like this one too.

The new weather system may not be a total revitalization of the series, but it does make it interesting to play the levels different ways.

The Mega Man franchise strives ahead with the same solid and addictive gameplay, plus some added RPG elements and tweaks to please the fans.

Rockman Zero 4 isn't going to score huge on the originality scale or alter anyone's mind about the state of Mega Man games. Yet, it's probably the best portable action oriented Mega Man title to date.

A refined version of an outstanding platformer series, and with games in this genre becoming more and more rare these days (especially good ones), it's hard to not recommend this title.

Longtime fans will appreciate that it's easier to both outfit Zero with different weapons and manage his various special abilities in this game than it was in the previous one, but aside from some primarily cosmetic changes, this game plays just like every other Mega Man game does.

Don't expect a whole lot new in Mega Man Zero 4. This is more a continuation of what's already been established in Mega Man Zero, Zero 2, and Zero 3.

A sequel should use the foundation laid down by the games that came before it in order to leap forward. MMZ4, if anything, is a step backward.

Despite the appealing presentation, it's generally a de rigueur platformer, and no more than par for the series. And with the wildly extreme difficulty settings, this is one for die-hards only.

I don't care how good the gameplay is - it's been done to death. It's like releasing the game of checkers over and over with different colored game pieces.
