The best game on GameCube by far and one of the best games ever, in my opinion. It's a must-own for any action game fan.

This is a game that simply must be played to be fully experienced, standing at the forefront of truly wonderful storytelling in videogames.

The story is awesome -- plot twists, deception, romance, it has it all… and the plot is much better then most of the movies that are put out now a days.

The gameplay is fun and innovative, the graphics are simply breathtaking, the cut scenes look simply amazing. Textures are done with detail and look sweet.

It improves on the original in every respect: better AI, better graphics, better sound, better easter eggs, better cut scenes.

While not boasting a tone of new content, you can't help but find yourself completely entranced by the updated sequences and newfound graphical realism...Something that you'll cherish for a lifetime.

They made the game much smoother in the gameplay department, the PS-X version's biggest weaknesses.

Even with the title's faults (unbalanced difficulty, sometimes irritating radio transmissions, and an occasionally choppy frame-rate) this is <I>the</I> best Metal Gear game of the series to date.

This game kicks ass, and remains one of the best games of all time. Now it&#146;s even prettier.

The A.I. of the genome soldiers has been drastically improved&#151;they're able to hear and see you much better, even from above and below. If Snake is detected, they'll coordinate their searches and look in every room&#151;and when it comes to looking under nondescript orange boxes, they're total jerks.

There's not much here to renew interest for old fans (save the most dedicated), but for everyone else prepare to be amazed - Solid Snake is back!

Yes, it is both brief and linear in nature, but the story is presented with such a brilliant combination of style and substance that you'll want to come back and experience it over and over again.

The cut scenes nearly steal the show. They&#146;re a little too good, really. Once you see Snake and his enemies in fully choreographed action, returning to the actual game seems a little clunky.

It's been somewhat updated but not all of the updates are better than the original. Still, you absolutely have to get Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes if you haven't played the original - no question.

The stealth-based gameplay that MGS introduced has rarely been equaled, and it's as perfect here as it ever was. If I seem disappointed, it's only because there are signs everywhere that this could have been a remake of epic proportions, but the extraordinarily talented creators settled on a port.

A graphical masterpiece.

As solid as a tactical espionage action game can get. This remake belongs next to the Resident Evil remake, which to this day stands as being one of the best GameCube releases.

An amazing remake of a contemporary classic! Gamers who missed it the first time around owe it to themselves to play.

Gamers looking for a title with incredible gameplay, an engrossing story, cinematic goodness and a rough and tough commando should look no further.
