The simplicity of it all combined with just a touch of humor helps make Mister Mosquito a title well worth taking for a spin or three.

A really fun game with great music, solid graphics, and a good degree of difficulty, but its very basic gameplay and lack of options doesn’t give it a whole lot of staying power.

One of the most creative and original games to come out in recent months, most notably because it does not rely on any single preset established genre and yet it is still a very appealing title.

The more weird sh*t, the better, I say...The game's creative premise, it's brave completion, and the phenomenal amount of laughter (sexually tinged or not, it's really how you see it) and fun to be had here shouldn't be ignored.

The game's structure is surprisingly rigid.

I’ve never really seen a game that so obviously and yet so hilariously heaps on the innuendo. Sucking blood is such a thinly veiled euphemism that you can’t help but laugh at the fact that someone actually made a game like this.

The sluggish controls make it hard to maneuver Mister Mosquito from avoiding hand slaps, insect repellent, and everything else that’s thrown at you.

Playing through Mister Mosquito for the first time is a unique and memorable experience, well worth a weekend rental if not a full-price purchase.

There is something to be said for this title due to its pure outrageousness.

Though a little slow at times, unique gameplay at incredibly quirky characters will provide plenty of entertainment. Depending on how you play, you could be in for a remarkable stealth game or a tense, action packed crusade against your giant prey.

Taps that bizarro vein and sucks it dry, with funny (intentionally and otherwise) voice acting and quirky characters.

The game has no replay value, is too flawed to be a worthy addition to your collection, and can be easily finished in a little under 2 hours. It could, however, give you a fairly entertaining afternoon’s worth of gaming.

A thoroughly original title that brings to a new audience, through parody, a touch of what makes Japanese culture so appealing to so many Westerners.

Whilst it doesn’t offer an epic adventure the gameplay is solid enough to offer gamers a good gaming experience for a few hours.

Without the uniqueness of being a blood-sucking mosquito this game would be a clunky action/flying hybrid that'd be closer to first-generation Dreamcast software than PS2-caliber material.

An exercise in strangeness and quirky appeal. If only the game were a bit longer and the graphics better.

The poor maneuverability of Mister Mosquito seriously shrink-rays that already little fun, and makes the game a lot more frustrating than it ought to be. Fresh, though, you've got to give it that.

Sadly, Mister Mosquito is brutally linear in its gameplay. You cannot land on your victim and just start sucking - you must find the one or two hot spots or it's no go.
